The Surrey Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs (Surrey Young Farmers) is a registered charity – number 305155 and is part of the National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs (NFYFC).

Surrey Young Farmers take the issue of privacy very seriously and we are committed to protecting and respecting our members and users’ privacy. We never share or sell any personal data to a third party.

Our website uses the latest secure server technology to ensure your information is protected to the highest standard, whenever you contact us.

Membership Information

  • We obtain your personal data through the completion of a membership form which is required as part of the registration process to become a member of Surrey Young Farmers.
  • The membership information that we will require will include the members name, address, telephone number(s) (including parents for U18s), email address (including parents for U18s), date of birth, gender, health information, ethnicity, preferred spoken language, emergency contact details
  • This is used for the administration and management of your membership relationship with Surrey Young Farmers and is shared with your club, the Surrey office and the NFYFC
  • NFYFC will only contact you if you have given permission to receive marketing information about the organisation

Enquiry Information

For enquiries through the website or by telephone, we request name, email, telephone, address and postcode.

  • For potential members these are directed to Club Leaders
  • For potential leaders these are directed to the County office
  • For show support these are directed to the County office and onto the Cowpie Chairman
  • For Cowpie Show trade enquiries including trade stands and attractions, these are directed to the appropriate Cowpie Committee member (trade stands, attractions, classic cars). Application forms and contracts with separate terms and conditions are then issued.
  • For general show enquiries these are directed to the County office

Advanced Ticket Sales through the Cowpie Country Show website

The purchase of e-tickets through the Cowpie Country Show website is co-ordinated through TICKETsrv and tickets are electronically delivered.

TICKETsrv are bound by terms and conditions which prevent them from using this data for any other purpose. They will not sell or use your data for marketing.

When purchasing a ticket, data collected may include your name, email, phone number and address. Data that is automatically collected will include information regarding the IP address of the device, if any, through which you have made contact, and may include information derived from cookies and similar technologies that indicates the route by which you made contact.

Personal Data that you have provided may be used to fulfil a transaction with you or to provide you with a service that you have requested. If you provide Personal Data (for example an e mail address) for a particular purpose, the Personal Data may be used in connection with that purpose (for example by responding to an enquiry by email to the address you have provided).

All payments are taken via debit or credit card and this is handled securely by a secure authorised service and neither Surrey Young Farmers nor TICKETsrv receive your card details during the transaction.
